Alien Baby Attends World Horror Convention With Brian Hopkins

After visiting Ramsey Campbell's home, the Alien Baby was inspired to attend the World Horror Convention in Seattle - and Bram Stoker Award Winner Brian Hopkins was happy to oblige. Frankly, though, the Alien Baby didn't know what he was in for - the participants got him drunk a lot and were very wild in general. After awhile of getting used to it, he really began to fit in, though. He's glad it's only once a year, but he did have fun...however, he would like someone to please remove the tattoo from his delicate green ass.

(Thanks to Brian for taking the photographs - and for providing the captions...)

AB ties one on in the hotel bar. This will have disastrous consequences, as you'll see in the next photo…

the official story here is that I left AB alone in the bar while I did a panel or a reading or something. I suppose I should never have trusted him unsupervised. AB had too much to drink and, after passing out, got at tattoo on his ass. The tattoo is the LWP logo, so it ain't as if he was tattooed with some hooker's name.

Ed Bryant threatens to dunk AB in his Chinese take-out. Bryant had heard a rumor that Chinese food was like Kryptonite to AB and wanted to verify whether it was true or not.

Bram Stoker and World Fantasy Award winner P.D. “Trish” Cacek, the “lady in red,” taking AB up to her room in a moment of weakness. The next morning AB refused to discuss what went on with her. Trish also had “no comment.”

Horror author Charlee Jacob cradles AB to her bosom.

Ellen Datlow attempts a mind-meld with AB. It didn't work. There are those who might speculate as to which head proved to be too empty, but I refuse to take sides.

Bram Stoker Award winning Canadian author Edo van Belkom and AB do their impression of the movie Alien.
