The Alien Baby Visits Australia:
Part II: KJ Bishop

Alien Baby began his Melbourne holiday at the casino. Unfortunately he was refused entry, the security guard suspecting him of having telepathic powers. But his disappointment quickly became joy when in the adjacent shopping mall he met fellow space traveller Buzz Aldrin (seen here in a plastic box after a mishap with a miniaturisation ray). AB visited the mock-Moorish Regent theatre, then had a genteel cuppa at the historic Houpetoun Tea Rooms in Block Arcade. In nearby Royal Arcade he visited the Games Shop, where he was able to identify the opposing Sirian houses of Graaagh and Gleeer (both had suffered a mishap with a miniaturisation ray). In the afternoon he visited the Collected Works bookshop, where he found much to tempt him. He also visited the art gallery at Federation Square, and posed for a portrait within the geometry of light and shadow in the upstairs concourse.
